Alot of people admit to getting love advice from some of the popular magazines and Hollywood movies. But that could be part of the problem if your relationships are not working out. If thats what you have been doing then that could be part of your problem and why you are having problems with the love of your life. These sources don't have any advice to give you to have and keep a long term relationship. Here are some tips that actually make sense.

When you argue with each other don't point out your partner's weaknesses and failings. Don't tell them that they should not be that way or that they are wrong about their point of view because that's not how you would feel. Respect their feelings and try to come to some kind of agreement that would be beneficial to you both.

Money should be openly discussed and it is usually not common love relationship advice but it should be because money problems are a number one cause of divorce and ending relationships. Both of you should discuss the money budget at least once a month more if you can and each of you should have a little spending money that you can blow on personal things pertaining to each of you that the other partner won't get upset about. Keep a handle on spending and learn to save some money every pay day. Have a small common goal that you both want to save up for after you have established an emergency fund say a big screen tv or a new couch or a nice trip that you could go on.

End those fights. No matter how much you are in love with someone they always do things that annoy you and sometimes it gets out of hand or they say the wrong thing or they actually want to piss you off. If your partner has done this take it in stride. Maybe they had a bad day and they need your support and you don't give it to them. Be a little kinder and nicer putting your needs on the back burner for awhile and just listen to them .Really, really listen and empathize with them. Put yourself in their shoes and see if you would feel the same way. If you find it hard to do this then try to see their point of view. Remember that they are a different person and that they have a different point of view on the problem Get rid of the stereotypes of men do this and women are this when dealing with your spouse . It really is not fair to them to lump them into stereotypes and can actualy make you not want to deal with them. How can you have love towards them if you are thinking that all women are this or all men are that? It is not true. Yeah sure the sexes have different ways of dealing with things but that doesn't mean that your spouse is bad .If you can't keep your cool and you are both just shouting then both of you back off and cool down . Then deal with the problem. It will be better with your anger is down some. That is some of the best love relationship advice because stewed up anger at your partner can destroy a relationship.Forgiveness is another key point in keeping the love alive after a fight. Make sure that you really forgive AND forget. Also don't have pride but say that you are sorry first! There is no reason to make them say sorry first. This is your partner and they are the most important thing in your life. This will keep them closer to you because they will see that the relationship is more important to you than being right.

Stop and think what would your live be like without them in it. Probably really sad and lonely. Take a minute every day or once a week when you are by yourself and think about the good things that your partner is composed of and what good and love that they bring into your life. Tell them these things: they will LOVE it!

Talk to your partner about what is important to you:your hopes ,your dreams, what you like to do , what you want to do with them by your side, your feelings from day to day, and the fears that you may have. Lots of people let the relationship go by the wayside when day to day living gets in the way. Make a date once a week to get the love back and keep it alive. Go to a bed and breakfast 3 or 4 times a year and just be a couple again. Put your relationship first and everything else will benefit:kids, dog, whatever.

Keeping the love going strong takes effort and commitment and communication and the goal to put the relationship first. Don't listen to the tabloids and Hollywood or the magazines for advice on a strong love relationship.
